The beauty of the hide. That's the right word to describe the charm of the village in the district Haratai Loksado, Kab. Upper South River. In the village inhabited by Dayak tribe Meratus We have a variety of interesting objects suitable to be explored.
Together with 3 friends, I lajukan vehicle to the village located on the sidelines of the magnificent Mount Meratus that spanned most areas of South Kalimantan. The last town that we saw was Kandangan, a small town which is the capital district. Upper South River.
From Kandangan, the journey is still leaving about 38 kilometers or about 1 hour. Passing through many villages such as the village of Muara HATIP, whose location is in the vicinity of Mount Kentawan that loomed. Generally, villages that seem modest it is dominated by ethnic Dayak tribe Banjar and Meratus. They coexist peacefully. Various religious facilities also looks solid, it indicates just how harmonious living in the interior of Kalimantan.
An entrance gate to welcome us, signifying the journey has entered Loksado region. A district that almost every week on the visit by foreign tourists especially from European countries. Loksado famous match to try out adventure hobbies such as bamboo rafting, trekking, camping, hiking and others.
One of his village that I visited this Haratai. From the center Loksado, traveling with two-wheeled vehicle can be taken about 30 minutes. During the trip we passed a very beautiful natural scenery and natural. Forests, rivers, large rocks, a suspension bridge, the hills, sweet wood & bamboo garden and a few houses Dayak Meratus.
