National motorcycle market entered a new phase. Types of ducks in power for two decades more becoming obsolete. Consumers continue to switch to automatic scooter scooter alias. It is seen from the sales data member Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) in February.
For the first two months of this year, sales reached 1,280,573 units, up 22.6 percent from the same period the previous year, 1,043,907 units. Skutik acquire 48.98 percent market share, while 42.77 percent live ducks and sport 8.26 percent. Skutik brands dominate the market is also going transition. Of the three brands that market the scooter, Honda has acquired 627,176 units or 52.4 percent gain share, Yamaha dominance shifts in power since 2005, this year only gets 44.5 percent. Suzuki 3.03 percent.
