Park Forest Area-Bukit Baka Bukit Raya dominated by mountain peaks Schwaner. Kuau pygmy species endemic to the island of Borneo is the most threatened with extinction due to human activities in the forest.
The indigenous people around the national park is a descendant of the Dayak ethnic group Limbai, Ransa, Kenyilu, Ot Danum, Malahui, Kahoi and Kahayan.
