Klenteng Ban Hin Kiong

Ban Hin Kiong Temple is located in Manado, North Sulawesi. Age of this temple is about 300 years old and was built in the 18th century. Ban Hin Kiong consists of 3 words, Ban means a lot, Hin mean abundance of goodness, and Kiong means palace. According to its founders 'belief, people will get so much kindness and safety to achieve the regularity of life'. Ban Hing Kiong Temple was founded about 300 years ago by following the pattern that starts from the intention and nature of its founders, where it is physically displayed on a board name to reflect its role and functions as well as its general and broad (universal), namely:

- Ban = Many
A Place of Worship was built by the people to carry out various Sacred Ceremony, Ceremony of Prayer, Religious pilgrimage of Interest For Humanity.

- Hing = The Abundant Blessings
A Place of Worship who have religious values to glorify God's name in warding off against the power of darkness and all Mankind harmful interference, and the natural environment so that always created an orderly universe orderly and peacefully bring abundant blessings for Humanity.

- Kiong = Palace
