East Kalimantan province has at least 56 tourist attractions, among other natural attractions that dibaur with local culture, palace, history, and maritime, which spread over a number of districts and cities.

"For example, among others, West Kutai Regency Lake Jempang, Kersik Luway Orchid Garden, Waterfall Jentur thunder, and Lamin Tering customs in the village," said Head of Culture and Tourism Firminus Kunum in Samarinda East Kalimantan, on Friday (16/10).
"Some 56 tourist attraction is the minimum amount, because there are many more interesting natural tourist attraction that continues to be developed by each district and town in East Kalimantan," he said.
He said in Samarinda also has seven attractions including the Botanical Gardens Unmul Samarinda (crush), Area Tourism Pampang Cultural Village, Ceremony Pelas Year, Waterfall Tanah Merah, Masjid Raya Darussalam, Edge Mahakam and location Samarinda Sarong craft.
Furthermore, in the East Kutai regency there are four marine tourism object location and natural attractions, namely Pangandaraan Beach, Pangandaran Goa, Goa Mount Kombeng, and New Maiau Village Tourism region.
Paser Penajam District North (PPU) has at least three tourist attractions, namely Cape Coast and Island Jumelai Kwangen. Both are located in District Penajam. In addition there are deer breeding sites located in District Waru.
Later in Berau regency palace there are five tourist attractions and marine tourism, among others, the Kingdom of Mount Tabur, the former royal palace and tomb of King Liung Samba. Then there are also well-known Derawan island beauty, the island of Charitable and a host of other small island.
Bontang City has at least three tourist attractions, namely Rice Wet Rice Island is located adjacent to the LNG plant, then a tourist attraction housing residents over the sea and tourist Bontang Kuala Padang Golf Hotel Star Sintuk.
"Furthermore, in Aberdeen there are 10 tourist sites, there are six locations Kukar, Bulungan there are two, Tarakan there are six, there are five Paser District, and in Nunukan district there are three tourist attraction. This amount does not include cultural tourism, "said Firminus Kunum
