Gili Trawangan

Gili Trawangan, the most popular island of the Gili's. Just kick back and enjoy the sun, nightly beach parties and sea. The main stripe is full of accommodations, restaurants, and dive shops. Gili Meno

Gili Meno, the middle island, the smallest of the three Gili's and it is the quietest with fewer tourists. A great escape for honeymooners or someone who wants to get away from it all. A special feature of the island is the salt lake and spectacular dive sites such as, Meno Wall, Sea Turtle Point, and Blue Coral Point. The beach on eastern part of the island is very nice and there's snorkeling just offshore and further north. In the past Meno was known to have lots of mosquitoes but steps have been taken to control it. Still the best time to visit the island is during dry season.

Orchid Market

Orchid Market in Darmo Satelit Surabaya area had stood since August 2005. It has been 7 gardeners who merged into Surabaya Orchid Society such as; Renny Orchid, Foresta Orchid, Bale Air, Nona Orchid. The Jasa Marga Area is managed with rent per month system. Strategic location because is located in front of Darmo highway door and luxuriant housing area.

Here is sold various orchid types, start from Dendrobium sp., Cattleya sp., Oncidium sp, and Cymbidium sp. which is symposia orchid type in general have epiphyte character. While monopodium orchid type is orchid being distinguished by growing point which there is in tip of bar, pertumbuhann of straight to the above of by one bars like Vanda sp., Arachnis sp., Renanthera sp., Phalaenopsis sp., and Aranthera sp.

Kepanjen Curch

The Roman Catholic Church of Kelahiran Santa Perawan Maria, which in its development is also, recognized with The Roman Catholic Kepanjen. This name is more knowledgeable because this church location resides in Kepanjen Street number 4-6 Surabaya. The Church that being built in 1899 is the eldest church in Surabaya, but has just been applied one year then post it development. Kelahiran Santa Perawan Maria Church in SurabayaIn 1889, Pastor CWJ WENNEKER bought a piece of land in Tempelstraat (now kepanjen street). Kembang Island

This place is located in the middle of Barito river, west of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. Its a habitat of long tail monkey and bird. This place is in the wis forest of Barito river. Kelam Hills

This place is known cause the history. People said that Kelam Hills is folklore from Kapuas river. Its called Kelam hills is because all of this place coverred by black stone. It has 520 Ha area and on the top of hills there's many cave that consist of wallet bird. This place is located in Sintang, West Kalimantan and between of two river,there are Melawi and Kapuas. Health Museum of Dr. Adhyatma, MPH

In order to save and maintaining the nation's cultural heritage, the Ministry of Health of Indonesia through the Center for Research and Technology Development and Health Services in Surabaya, initiated a health museum since 1990. The museum collects and displays health historical items since the earlier time until now. Formally on September 14, 2004, the Minister of Health inaugurated the museum and named "Health Museum of Dr. Adhyatma, MPH - MOH".

In regard to these efforts, have also realized even more advanced age, more sophisticated technology, but the nation's ancestors heritage, including the health culture can not simply left.

Therefore, the Health Museum, expected to become a medium of education or the health center learning for the public and the scientific community who care about health effort.

The purpose of this museum was built to save and preserve objects of historical value to the time of the health sector until now. Besides this museum also gives information to the today generations and future generations about health intricacies of the history, culture, science and so on.

This museum has equipped with a "special library" which collects and serves all library materials: books, magazines, recording tapes, video footage and others. Library materials allows for the deepening of cultural studies in health.

The collection is include all of historic objects in health services from various regions, race / ethnicity, religion / beliefs, etc; has realized in: the original object, object imitation, replica, photograph or image. While the exposure or exhibition technical in the museum is presented in a different room or a group show called 'Sasana", which is:

1. Sasana Adhyatma (Adhyatma Room)
This Sasana presents various collections of the late Dr. Adhyatma MPH when he served as Minister of Health in 1988 untill 1993. There is also a collection of inscriptions.

2. Sasana Kencana (Kencana Room)
In this room exhibited a variety of historical objects of decoration, badges of precious metal, a letter of appreciation and so on related health struggle. In the room was also presented the history and health profile of the museum pioneer.

3. Sasana Kespro (Reproduction Health Room)
Storing and displaying various items / equipment of reproduction health including; the health of mothers and children from different cultures or cultural, pregnancy health, childbirth and family planning.

4. Sasana Genetika (Genetics Room)
In this room and show the various genealogy lineage that is closely related to genetics of a dynasty, such as genealogy of various royal families in Indonesia.

5. Sasana Kesehatan Budaya (Culture Health Room)
Health efforts based on belief or supernatural, unseen world is a culture reality that had exist and developed since past time ago. An interesting phenomenon as well be a challenge for all of us to examine and uncover the mystery, so that can be utilized for our health, prosperity and humanity.

6. Sasana Fauna (Fauna Room)
We must remain alert to the animals around us. Various animals can be a mediator of disease (vector), but there are also some animals that merit as a medicine and so help us all.

7. Sasana Medik dan Non Medik (Medical And Non-Medical Room)
Various medical and non-medical health equipments are stored and displayed in this room. These objects are used by health institutions in the past times and become great historic services for our society health.

Monument Juang'45

Nyilep Beach

Ngliyep beach has beautiful rocky beach at the southern part of Malang Regency, where gigantic waves meet coral reef. Gedhongan Traditional Art Performance

Gedhogan used to be performed as entertainment after doing a traditional rice paddy peeling in preparation for a wedding or a circumcision celebration. The sound of music is made from the tools that they use to peel the rice, like the alu, lesung and lumpang. Those tools sounded good and have a special tone. They were singing while playing the musical instruments.

At this time, the musical instruments used are supplemented with two chunks of iron called a kempul and a gendang, which is a kind of drum.

Seblang Dance

Banyuwangi has two kinds of Seblang ceremonies. They are Seblang Oleh Sari and Seblang Bakungan. Seblang Ritual is one of public ritual of Using community that can found in two villages in Glagah district, Banyuwangi, that is Bakungan and Olihsari. This ritual is held for pray and wishfull to the God, in order to get the welfare and secure. This ritual is as same as Sintren ritual in Cirebon area, Jaran Kepang and Sanghyang in Bali Island.

Seblang dance in both villages has different time, in Olihsari village usually held a week after Id Fitr, while in Bakungan held a week after Id Adha. The dancers are chosen by a supernatural man and usually, the dancers must come from the previous dancers. In Olihsari village, the dancers must young girls, while in Bakungan the dancers must women in 50 years old above who get menopause.

This Seblang dance actually is very old tradition, so it difficult to know about its history. But based on a source, the first Seblang dancer is Semi, who is the beginner woman of Gandrung dancer (die in 1973). After she got secure from her disease, then her mother promise (Mak Midah or Mak Milah) must be done, Semi finally became Seblang in her childhood till younger, she was Gandrung dancer.

Selecta

Selecta is one of interesting tourism object in Batu that crowded by many visitors. It is located in Tulungrejo village, Bumiaji district, about 13 km from the city. Selecta is tourism object that offering the ruthless of air with about 20ha width. This place has swimming pool facility, flowerbed, hotel, restaurant, and playground.

Selecta built in 1928 by a Dutch named Reyter Dewild. It resides in dale with height of 1100 m dpl. The temperature is 17 C. In this tourism area, there is Bima Sakti Hotel, which has healthy center and resort of the first Indonesia President Soekarno and Moh. Hatta that used to applied the country conception.

Selecta has various supporting facilities of tourism object, for example swimming pool, restaurants, wide parking area, security, fruits market, Musholla, tennis court, playground, etc. From those points, Selecta has become favorite recreation place for family recreation, picnic activity, refreshing, etc. This area always visited by a lot of tourist to enjoy their holiday and do many recreation activities, such as; swimming, walking around, etc.

Batu City

Batu city is located in 800 meters above sea level, with cold temperature 17-25,6 degree of Celsius. Batu city is an area in East Java that surrounded by mountains. Ledre is kind of snack, typical of Bojonegoro. It formed gapit ( like rolled chips emping) with sweet plantain aroma. The nice one is banana taste. It is special snack from Bojonegoro that made of sugar, flour, and banana. The snack has rolled, so that it looks like a stick. Buyut Dalem Grave

Prince Raden Aryo Dalem Grave or famous with Buyut Dalem term is the Pilgrimage tour in Bojonegoro regency that close to the city. Precisely in Kadipaten district, Bojonegoro Sub district, about 500 m to east of Bojonegoro Regency government's office. Raden Aryo Dalem was the son of Tuban Regent, who died in the Pajang battle, because Raden Prince Aryo Dalem was the descendant of the Regent then his grave was sacred by Bojonegoro people. It held the substitute ceremony for the grave roof of Raden Prince Aryo Dalem in every year.
